The project is a full refurbishment and rear extension featuring a full length glazed slice (combined rooflight & oriel window). Introduced to the south of the property, the extension is a direct response to an existing cramped layout with poor connection to the garden. Alterations to the plan, together with the introduction of new fenestration, allows for daylight to penetrate deep into the lower ground floor. The projecting section of the glazed slice also creates a superior connection with the garden, creating a seat within the slice at garden level, and direct access through large glazed sliding doors.
